Kellie has over 20 years experience in the arts, including both commercial art and fine art, and also holds a PhD in conservation biology which informs her work. Her paintings capture striking snapshots from the natural landscapes in which she lives and works, describing rythmic patterns and exploring the isolation and vulnerability of wildlife .

Kellie's subjects reflect the extensive time she has spent in remote environments in Africa and Australia.
